2019 Merlot Reserva Especial

The Merlot vines planted in our Cerro Santo estate vineyard are grown on their own roots, and we are proud that the Texas High Plains is one of only a few places in the world capable of growing ungrafted vines successfully. Our Merlot Reserva Especial is truly a special wine, maturing with extended time in both French and American oak. It exhibits lovely red fruit aromas with flavors of black plum, anise, and dark chocolate, and is a perfect complement to pasta and meat sauce, roasted veggies, and herbed cheeses.
