2019 Primitivo Riserva

Primitivo, the signature variety from our Cerro Santo estate vineyard, is bold and fruity when young, but our reserve wine, aged in both French and American oak, is softened and mellowed, while retaining the substantive character of this already outstanding vintage. Double-barrel aging has produced aromas of vanilla, toasted coconut, and cinnamon in addition to the wine’s flavors of dark cherry, coffee, and chocolate. Our Primitivo Riserva is a truly special wine, perfect for sipping on its own, or as a complement to a special meal.
