2020 Tempranillo

The Tempranillo variety is one of the oldest in Spain, where it’s most famously planted in the Rioja region, whose climate shares many similarities with the Texas High Plains. This flavorful red is quickly becoming a Texas classic. Our full-bodied Tempranillo exhibits aromas of dark cherry, plum, and baking spices, with flavors that remind us of chocolate covered cherries and baked fruit bread. It pairs well with Mexican foods, tomato-based pasta dishes, and hard cheeses like sharp cheddar and Manchego.
