2021 Dolcetto

The Dolcetto name means "little sweet one" in its native Italian, and we agree that this medium-bodied and drinkable dry red wine is charming.  Our fruity and flavorful Dolcetto exhibits aromas of cranberries, anise, and cherry cola, and shows black plum, pepper, and cocoa notes on the palate.  It pairs well with most Italian foods, eggplant parmigiana, and garlic and peppery dishes.  It complements both hard and soft cheeses like Manchego and Pecorino Romano, as well as Mozzarella and goat cheese.
